Livingston is just two points down the Scottish Premiership table heading into the weekend’s matches and things are unlikely to improve when Hearts visit Almondvale.

The Jambos have made a strong comeback in the top flight since being promoted last season and have yet to lose on their own turf this term. Their away form was not so impressive, but Robbie Neilson’s side won at Dundee United and St Mirren and they scored a point at Ibrox.

The Hearts played rather well in their 1-0 loss to Celtic on Thursday and they face much weaker opposition on Sunday.

Livingston hasn’t had a win in five SPL games, they’ve only scored three goals in that series and the performances have been poor.

Sure, Livi pulled off a draw at Parkhead, but it happened in a game in which they had no shot on target, one effort on goal and just 15 percent possession. Anything to do with even money seems like a good offer on a Hearts win.

Motherwell returned to winning streak against Dundee United on Tuesday, making it three wins in four games for Well. Encouragingly, a previously elusive Motherwell defense has kept three sheets clean in its last four games and Graham Alexander’s men appear underrated at Hibs.

The Hibees had a rough time by the Rangers on Wednesday and the 1-0 loss has resulted in just one victory in their last seven top-tier games. Jack Ross is heavily dependent on Martin Boyle and if Motherwell can keep the Aussie quiet he may exceed his chances on Saturday.
