Team Blaser’s Rachel Barringer hit 398 of 400 clays on her way to victory at the 2022 Texas State Skeet Championships, held June 2-5 at the Greater Houston Sports Club in Houston, Texas .

Taking the overall title in a field that included 123 men and women, Barringer’s impressive shooting also earned her the Women’s Championship title.

Under sunny skies and soaring temperatures in the 90s, Barringer started the championship with a 97 out of 100 in double Skeet and a perfect 100 in 12 gauge, as well as a second place in both women’s events. For 20 gauge, she shot another perfect 100 and, after a long shootout, won the Texas State Open Championship and the Ladies Championship. She also shot 100 out of 100 in .28 gauge to win the Women’s Championship. Barringer followed that up with a 98 out of 100 in .410, good for third place in the women’s division.

Her performance ensemble earned Barringer the state championship title — the second woman in Texas Skeet Shooters Association history to win that title in the past 50 years.

“I am so honored to hold the title of Texas State Skeet HOA Champion,” said Blaser Group Chief Digital Officer Rachel Barringer. “This has been a goal of mine for many years and I’m truly humbled. It wouldn’t have been possible without the endless support I’ve received from my employer and sponsor, Blaser USA, or the trust I have in my Blaser F3 shotgun and the other products I use.

“We are very proud of Rachel’s incredible accomplishments in these competitions,” said Jason Evans, CEO of Blaser Group USA. “She is dedicated to excellence, both in her filming and in her profession as digital manager. We salute her hard work, as well as the courage and dedication of the other members of the Blaser team who have produced exceptional performances during these championships.
