Comp-Tac claims its new Tri-Mag Pouch Holder is the “easiest way to comfortably carry three magazines on the body.” Designed with input from top competitive shooter Rob Leatham, the Tri-Mag allows users to angle their magazines for easy access and individual adjustment of pouch retention.
“I was amazed at how quickly things happened,” Leatham said in a video on the Comp-Tac YouTube channel. “I said we’re going to make a triple-mag pouch because three are perfect for IDPA, and two of those setups would also work great for single-stack USPSA use. [Comp-Tac] came back with it the next day [holds up the Tri-Mag].”

Each Tri-Mag pouch is designed with openings to provide more flexibility and speed when deploying the magazine, even during the twists or turns often encountered during deployment in competition. Additionally, the pouches sport top flares for easy magazine re-insertion.
Tri-Mag magazine pouches can be tilted 20 degrees forward or 20 degrees backward. A backward tilt helps magazines sit straight up and down if the user’s belt is tilted due to body shape. A forward tilt will relieve stress on the shoulders if the user carries the magazines towards the back of their body.
The MSRP for the new Tri-Mag is $72. Learn more on the Comp-Tac website: comp-tac.com.
