Grant beats Fruitport in tennis

Grant’s girls’ tennis team got rid of Fruitport 5-3 on Thursday night.

The Tigers swept the doubles, while Jada Zerlaut won the No. 1 singles.

The Trojans’ Grace Sweet, Rachel Hines and Audra Peterson picked up the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 singles respectively.

Grant will travel to St. Catherine’s Academy in Siena on Saturday.

Fruitport will host the No. 1 and No. 2 singles and doubles for the GMAA tournament on Saturday. Stock sets off at 8:20 p.m.
